WELCOME TO SEASON 16

The summer is set.
The story is unwritten.

Australia’s men’s Big Bash League returns for a 16th edition with eight clubs and a 40-match home-and-away campaign. This season opens on 12 December in Chennai, where Melbourne Renegades face defending champions Perth Scorchers in the competition’s first match played outside Australia.

From 15 December, games run across Australia; the regular season closes on 17 January. The top four then contest the Qualifier, Knockout, Challenger and final, scheduled for 26 January. This guide keeps fixture facts separate from results and makes no claim to offer live scores.
