WCL 2026 points table after 7 October: England lead as Australia and West Indies win

England Champions still lead the World Championship of Legends 2026 on four points after the 7 October matches, although West Indies beat them by seven wickets. Australia’s win over Bangladesh brought them into a four-team group on two points alongside South Africa, India and West Indies.

What changed on 7 October?

Australia Champions posted 203/6 and beat Bangladesh Champions, who finished on 166/6, by 37 runs in Sharjah. David Warner made 66 from 38 balls and Callum Ferguson 63 from 36. Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah finished unbeaten on 73 from 35 but could not close the gap.

In the later game, West Indies Champions dismissed England for 154 in 19.1 overs and reached 156/3 in 16.1. Lendl Simmons made 55 not out from 33 balls. England retained the lead on points despite the loss; West Indies recorded their first win in two completed games.

Where does India stand?

India Champions are third on two points after one win and one loss. South Africa are ahead on net run rate after playing just once; Australia and West Indies are also on two. The ordering shown here reproduces the independent scorecard-backed table checked on 8 October. It is a dated snapshot, not a live or organizer-certified qualification verdict.

The organizer’s revised schedule lists Australia–South Africa and Bangladesh–West Indies on 9 October, then India–South Africa at Sharjah on 10 October. Those results can change the order. We have not awarded points for cancelled fixtures or assumed a semifinal place for any team.
